Prospective members will be assessed according to the extent to which they meet the following criteria:
1. are capable of understanding complex and technical problems;
2. are willing and capable of actively learning and sharing;
3. are capable of understanding, empathising with and distilling the views of consumers, such that those views can be shared in the context of a technical problem;
4. demonstrate effective communication skills;
5. have experience working collaboratively with others; and
6. demonstrate sound personal integrity and self-awareness.
